Saturday 6 July 2024
MANIFATTURA TABACCHI – Via delle Cascine, 35 – Firenze (Italy)
Sponsored by Regione Toscana.
In this workshop, we will address the topic of migration, exploring how active citizenship can respond to the complexities of these phenomena with innovative ideas.
Faced with the complexities of migration:
How might we identify innovative ideas to promote inclusive attitudes through active citizenship?
How might we support local communities with creative tools to design services able to inclusive attitudes?
How might we transform the complexities of migration phenomena into value for local communities?
Using creative and speculative design approaches, we will develop scenarios to promote inclusive attitudes on migration.
Indeed, “DesIA Jam” is a co-design space that draws inspiration from future provocations supported by expert interventions on challenges of global interest.
The participants, divided into working groups, will have access to innovative tools thanks to the DesIA research project (desia.info) and the support and coordination of Codesign Toscana.
The workshop is open to everybody and it aims to strengthen the relationship between active citizens, volunteers, workers and experts in the third sector, institutions, activists and design professionals.
The workshop is organized, coordinated and facilitated by the DesIA research project team in collaboration with Codesign Toscana.
